Basmati Rice is a unique specialty long grain white rice in the aromatic category with a slightly nutty taste and outstanding "popcorn-like" aroma. Domestically grown, a superior quality comparable to many imported Basmati Rice products from India. Product is white with extra long, slender grains. Used by a wide range of operators, looking for a “unique” rice product. The rice is grown domestically and can be substituted for an imported Indian-grown Basmati rice. Because the product is grown in the US, it is fresher than most imported versions.
